On 24 October 2016, Professor Chen Xiaofa, Professor No Sung Hwan, three  master  students of IEAS,  professors of other universities, cultural studies scholars and art experts attended a forum on Jingshan Chán Tea Culture and Its Profound Deep Connotations at Jingshan Temple in Yuhang, Hangzhou.  The formal rituals of Jingshan tea ceremony  were formed in Jingshan and subsequently introduced into Japan by a Japanese monk who studied and practiced Mahayana Buddhismudents in Jingshan Temple. The forum was co-organized by Tea Culture Research Association in Yuhang, Hangzhou and Jingshan Culture  Research Society.
